About the Research
The coaching industry is one of the fastest growing service industries in the world.
While coaching helps a lot of people, the problem is anyone can call themselves a coach and start taking coaching clients. No education, training or experience required.
Left to its own devices online coaching industry has become the Wild West of industries. Coaching frauds, cons and scams abound and too many consumers like you are being exploited by unethical coaches.
One thing is clear: the coaching industry needs regulation.
But regulation requires data. That’s why we’re launching this research study. And we need your help.
Who is this research for?
We’re collecting real stories to help us understand the red and green flags when hiring service providers, the prevalence of unethical practices, and how to create safer online coaching environments.
We want to hear from consumers who have experiences with online coaches, mentors, consultants and service providers
AND we want to hear from coaches who want to build a safer and more ethical coaching industry.
